Chaga Chai

Chaga is a well researched mushroom that grows on birch trees here in the Maine woods. We've taken this historically used mushroom and combined it with warming and aromatic traditional Chai Spices to create our Chaga Chai Tea.

Enjoy this tea black or mix it with your favorite cream and sweetener. We love using coconut cream and raw honey. 

Chaga Chai makes a delicious iced tea! Follow the directions on the tin and then place in fridge to chill.

Ingredients: Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)*, Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum cassia)*, Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale)*, Sweet Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum verum)*, Cardamom Pod (Elettaria cardamomum)*, Black Pepper Corn (Piper nigrum)*, Star Anise (Illicium verum)*, Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans)* & Vanilla Bean (Vanilla planifolia)*

 

Goodnight Moon

Goodnight Moon is a wonderful artisanal bedtime blend. Made with soothing chamomile, catnip and lemon balm. This is a loose leaf tea. 

Ingredients: Skullcap Leaf & Flower (Scutellaria lateriflora)*, Hops Strobiles (Humulus lupulus)*, Lemon Balm Leaf (Melissa officinalis)*, Milky Oat Tops (Avena sativa)*, Catnip Leaf (Nepita cataria)* & Chamomile Flowers (Matricaria chamomile)*

 

Love Your Lungs

Love Your Lungs tea is a wonderful blend of herbs that support and nourish a healthy respiratory system.

Ingredients: Hyssop Leaf & Flower (Hyssop officinalis)*, Nettle Leaf (Urtica dioica)*, Marshmallow Root (Althea officinalis)*, Mullein Leaf(Verbascum thapsus)*, Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)* & Thyme Leaf (Thymus vulgaris)*

 

Roasted Root

Roasted Root with Reishi This is a lovely roasted, dark and earthy blend with hints of cinnamon and chocolate. This tea is a wonderful alternative to coffee that can be enjoyed hot or iced.

Made with a blend of adaptogenic herbs and mushrooms this tea makes a fabulous healthy option to coffee.

For people trying to cut back on coffee and or quit, we suggest mixing half Roasted Roots tea with half coffee and slowly making it with less and less coffee until they are totally coffee free.

Ingredients: Roasted Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale)*, Roasted Chicory Root (Cichorium intybus)*, Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum cassia)*, Ashwaganda Root (Withania somnifera)*, Cacao Nibs (Theobroma cacao)* & Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum)*

PREPARATION:

  • Use 1 1/2 tsp of herbs to every 8 oz of water
  • Boil water and pour over herbs
  • Cover
  • Steep 15 minutes to overnight
  • Strain
  • Enjoy black, or add your favorite sweetener and regular or plant-based milk
